The Harvard professor has left his wife for Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a glamorous Somali lawyer threatened with death for scripting a film critical of Islam.
Our favourite quote was definitely the one from Belinda Luscombe, the editor of the Mail on Sunday Magazine's arts editor:
In all the years I have known Ayaan, she's never had a boyfriend. She's gorgeous, but with a fatwa, it's tricky to find guys.
